Best Practices for creating Line Polls
Think about your audience
Create a poll that appeals to your audience and meets them where they are. Examples of voting motivations can be giving your voters a stage to express their opinion, collecting quick feedback, or getting them curious about what others think.
Make sure that you’re using the right channel to reach your audience. If you can’t find them on Line, you could also make a Slack poll, a Discord poll, or use any other type of platform where they’re most likely to spend time and engage with you.
Keep the questions and answers short
Shorter questions and answers improve the chance users quickly grasp the poll and participate in it.
Make it easy to answer
Try to have an option that fits every possible answer. Verify the answers don’t overlap. When relevant allow voters to suggest an additional answer to the poll.
Use Visuals
Use images to make the poll more appealing and engaging. A good image can dramatically elevate the participation rate. You can add an introduction image or/and images to each answer.
