The Vogue September issue is viewed as the cultural guide for the fashion world. September is the month where we reassess our wardrobe and invest in new pieces for the winter months. This is reflected in the fashion edits in magazine. The model chosen for the cover of the September Issue is an icon carefully selected by the magazines' editor in chief. Jennifer Lawrence is an American actress. She was the highest-paid actress in the world in 2015 and 2016. She has been listed in Time's 100 most influential people in the world list in 2013 and in the Forbes Celebrity 100 list in 2014 and 2016.
Kendall Jenner
Kendall is an American model and media personality. She first appeared in the E! reality television show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and is now a model in a movement dubbed "the Instagirl era", where models are chosen for their online presence and social media following.

Cara Delevingne, Joan Smalls and Karlie Kloss have been named the “Instagirls.” They are models that constantly post online, and share daily life activities.
