In the midst of the cupcake craze of the mid 2000s we encountered the work of Jessie Oleson, a.k.a. CakeSpy. As our very first illustrator Jessie placed Cuppie in some very fun (and funny) scenes. She may have also inadvertently contributed to our corporate sweet tooth!

Kathy Kniep, former owner of Pages from the Heart, gave Taylor her first opportunity to teach a class in-store. While quite nervous at first, Taylor quickly found her groove. And, as they say, the rest is history!

We originally sought to match the color of our packaging to the color of our pink rubber stamps but the joy and fun of teal eventually won out!
