You’ve just arrived at a party and it’s too quiet for your liking. Would you be the first to start dancing?
You were at an amusement park and fell off a ride, but it hadn't started moving yet and you are okay.. Would you start crying, create a huge fuss, and have hysterics?
Some of your friends start showing off and telling jokes. Would you try and attract attention to yourself by laughing loudly?
You were in the girls’ changing rooms getting changed when one of the boys walked in. Would you start screaming?
You’re given a part in the chorus of a school play. Would you somehow make sure you get to stand in the center of the stage anyway?
You are quiet:
You are extremely quiet. Your main concern is to get through the day without being noticed. That’s fine if you’re happy like that. But if it’s because you lack self-confidence and are shy, then it’s time to make sure that your voice is heard a little more. Once you start practicing making yourself heard, it gets easier… and believe me, you’ll start enjoying the attention.
You like attention, but you don't crave it:
You’re doing fine. You like to be noticed but don’t go overboard. You make yourself heard when it’s appropriate. You don’t make a big fuss for no reason, or ruin things for other people to become the center of attention.
You love to be the center of attention:
You eat, live, and breathe attention! You always want to be in the midst of things. Try to calm down a bit. Sometimes making too much fuss can ruin your chances with people…
