But still you are interested to use Internet Explorer, and you get an error like Internet Explorer has stopped working. This error cause due to 3rd party “.DLL” file is conflicting with iexplore.exe.

Cause of internet explorer has stopped working:-

At most of the time window users face issues, the problem typically comes down to programs being unable to access specific library file known as DLLs; by using this dynamic link libraries allow programs to communicate, share data, and function consentaneously. But when this dynamic link is damaged or misplaced, applications clog to function.

Another reason may be possible like receiving the internet explorer error can escape from damaged cache files or incompatible plugins.

Here are some ways to fix the internet explorer has stopped working:

1) Reset Security Zone:-

As we know very well when we work on any window, sites or app on mobile we have to need security. So, Microsoft’s Internet explorer also follow a strict rule of security when accessing the web. Some time security rules begin to break down, therefore software face issues.
· Reset Internet Explorer Security Settings Zone.

2) Find the .DLL file which is disputed with Internet Explorer:-

Another one method to fix the error is to find out the exact .DLL file which is causing the conflict. And this method is manual so it takes time so we try to keep it at the last step. We can find the faulty .DLL using system logs.

Here are the steps:-

· Right-click on My Computer and then click on the manage option, now you will get another window.
· Click on the arrow of Event Viewer.
· Click on the arrow of Windows logs.
· Click on the application option which is under the window log.
· Now see on the right side pane, it has listed all the system logs.
· Now scroll down the cursor and find an error related to iexplore.exe, and then double click on it and now you get the details.
· Now you have the details of the error message. Find the name of the .DLL file on that details.
· Now you have the particular .DLL file name which is causing conflict with iexplore.exe. Stop the conflicting by repairing, renaming, deleting that file. Now research on it, what to do with this file, so take action carefully.
· If you are not able to delete the file then reboot the computer in safe mode and after that delete the file.

To reset internet explorer is a default setting that can remove modification that causes the browser to slow down or stop working.

Reset method 1-

· Open internet explorer.
· Click on the tool menu.
· Click on internet options. You will get a configuration window.
· Click on the advanced tab.
· Click on the reset option. Now you will get another box named delete personal settings.
· Click on the Reset button on it.

Reset method 2-

If you are not able to open internet explorer through the above method, so here is another one method to fix the problem.

· Click on the Start button.
· Click on the control panel.
· Click on the network and internet.
· Click on the internet options.
· Click on the advanced tab.
· Click on the reset option. Now you will get another box named delete personal settings.
· Click on the Reset button on it.

4) Uninstall unwanted toolbar:-

Sometimes the toolbar can cause the error which is 3rd party. So try that never any 3rd party toolbar. If my mistake you have installed the one and you don’t know how to remove, then go through the below-given steps to remove unwanted toolbar from internet explorer.
· Remove unwanted toolbars using the control panel.
· Now, go to add/remove programs and uninstall if any toolbar available on the list.
