If used in the wrong manner, it could be apocalyptically disastrous. This mysterious person tell you that you must guard this time ring with your life. While some absolutely can be vicious, merciless beings, the majority of them are actually quite docile, opting to drink from animals and donors, rather than taking blood from people by force. Vampires tend to be more introverted than other creatures, preferring solace and times for deep self-reflection. They have old souls, and often feel out of place or left behind. Vampires are patient, wise, and brave.

Werewolves are the fun ones in any bunch! They love to socialize and party. The majority of them are boisterous and even times crude. Despite their rather intimidating appearances, they're actually quite the teddy bears, with the exception of what the full moon brings out. Werewolves are exceptionally loyal, more so than any other creature. When a werewolf makes you one of his pack, you are a friend for life. You can often find them drinking, dancing, or creating fun mayhem everywhere they go. They rarely do simple, they live life to the very fullest, taking advantage of each and every moment.

Witches are definitely one of the most complex creatures in the world of Ioretha. Some are cruel, others are kind. Some seek destruction, others seek peace. Much like nature, witches can be a little bit of everything - both terrifying and beautiful. Every witch's magic is unique. Witches have vast intellect and a deep sense of empathy. They are connected to the Earth and draw their powers from it, as well as from the sun, the moon, or both. The more powerful ones even have powers over life and death itself.

Some believe they even control the cycles of life and death, like they are the cogs of nature itself. Wood nymphs value peace over everything else. And while they are a peaceful, friendly species, they will not hesitate to bring punishment to anyone that doesn't respect the Earth or who disrupts their peace. Wood nymphs are full of ancient wisdom, much like the fae, but they do not share their knowledge with outsiders. So much is still unknown about this species...

Fae are ancient beings, existing even before the Actuin...or at least that is what the legends say. They are vastly intelligent creatures, leaps and bounds more so than others. And they crave knowledge - always exploring, always learning. Unlike every other magical creature in the world of Ioretha who draw power from the sun or the moon, fae gain their magic from the stars. Their magic is not only incredibly powerful, but it is incredibly dangerous. Some even believe that the fae posses power to destroy entire worlds. They are deep, empathetic, patient, and curious. Fae have so many different traits that's it's almost difficult to put them into one descriptor. They are the most fascinating, mysterious, and eclectic of the creatures in Ioretha.

Elves are the coziest of the bunch. They are friendly, spirited, funny, and caring. When you think of elves, you think of good food, togetherness, and sitting by a cozy hearth on a cold, winters day. The majority of elves are born with what they call "their elven gift," which is a magical ability of sorts. However, despite having these abilities, many elves never use them. The ones who have the more powerful physic abilities are often taught to shut those abilities off entirely so as not to make others uncomfortable. The elves live in harmony, both among villages of their own kind, as well as other places with more mixed varieties of creatures. They are known for their hospitality, their friendly attitudes, and their generosity. There is rarely a bad thing said about these lovely creatures.
