Authoritarian
Your parents' parenting style is characterized by controlling children's behavior, frequent punishment if rules aren't followed, and lack of freedom. Parents expect complete obedience from children and a child will rarely receive positive feedback. Parents show a lack of response to their children's needs and offer little warmth and few choices in privacy and lifestyle. As a result, children are often fearful/shy around others, think that obedience = love, have more aggressive behaviors but conform easily, and struggle with self-control, depression, anxiety

Neglecting/Uninvolved
Your parents' parenting style is characterized by a large emotional distance between you and your child, almost no supervision/expectations, but also little warmth and affection from the parent. Children of this parenting style are often anxious due to lack of support, emotionally withdrawn, fear dependence, and are at risk of delinquency and adolescent substance abuse.

Permissive
Your parents' parenting style is characterized by a lack of support and guidance due to the parents having no demands and allowing too much freedom. These parents can be affectionate but often let their children "walk all over them" and often act like a "friend" than an authority figure. Children whose parents have a permissive parenting style usually exhibit high levels of generalized anxiety. This can be both a healthy and unhealthy parenting style.
