Hybrid Tea Roses
The standard for cut flower roses, Hybrid Tea Roses are beloved for their picture-perfect bud shade and beautifully petaled blooms, which are available in a range of colors. They are known to be a bit more finicky than other roses, but the effort is well worth it. The blooms—which can grow up to five inches wide!—sit on long, straight stems, and many Hybrid Tea Roses have a delightful fragrance.

Grandiflora Roses
Grandiflora Roses bring together the best of both worlds, combining traits of Hybrid Tea Roses and Floribunda Roses. Like Hybrid Teas, Grandiflora Roses produce elegant blooms in a range of colors, but similar to Floribundas, the plant continually blooms its long-stemmed clusters of flowers. Grandifloras are hardy and resistant to disease. They can grow up to seven feet tall, meaning they are excellent as hedging or as flower-border backgrounds.

Floribunda Roses
Unlike Hybrid Tea Roses, Floribunda Roses have bloom clusters, rather than one flower per stem. Floribundas have smaller, but just as elegant, flowers and are more compact in overall growth form. These hardy roses, which tend to be disease resistant, have showy, fragrant flowers that bloom continuously. Floribundas have a range of growth habits, from compact and low growing to a more open form, growing up to six feet tall, making them suitable for hedges.
