A LENS ON INHERITED TRUTHS

An informal public poll exploring social media, self-representation, and the beliefs women inherit, challenge, and pass on.

Women of BACKBONE invites you to participate in this voluntary public poll. Through photographs, stories, and conversation, the project explores voice, choice, agency, and the many ways women navigate visibility in the world.

This poll asks participants to consider two questions: how women are perceived on social media and whether some judgments may be so familiar that they can feel true simply because they have been passed from one generation to the next.

Responses will be collected anonymously over a six-month period. An informal research summary of the findings will be shared on the Women of BACKBONE website.
