What you didn't know about the Skeem Saam wedding
According to Skeem Saam publicist Percy Vilakazi, they went all out to bring all the magic live to the small screen although he won't reveal the exact amount of how much it cost to make the two episodes, Vilakazi states that it was quite costly.
The director initially intended to film the wedding over two days, but ended up shooting over a period of four days.
They spent hundreds and hundreds of thousands [of rand]. It was like a real wedding, with many other logistical (TV) elements that resulted in additional costs.
They had initially booked the entire venue (Oakfield Farm in Honeydew) for two days and their cast and crew stayed over for those days because logistically, that was just easier.
