I'll Say It Again LAYER!
Another must have a durable outer layer. Your outer layer should retain heat while you’re working without adding to much weight and can take on the heavy-duty environment. Now the reason I said outer layer is that certain people have preferences. Have a jacket, a hoodie, a vest, or a coat as they work, none of them are wrong. BUT YOU NEED TO HAVE ONE!
Many workers rely on the ability and acute motion of their fingers to get work done. Having gloves or mittens will allow you to work longer and harder without your fingers suffering from frostbite. With a variety to choose from you can definitely find one that will suite your needs.
Covering your head is something that most people find optional, and I agree. When you’re wearing a hard hat for work, it can already be a lot. Then you’re adding another layer underneath to an already uncomfortable hat. But having something to keep your ears and head warm is essential (especially if you’re balding or bald.)
