Art for Life 2018 – Aminah Brenda Lynn Robinson Community Award
ABOUT AMINAH: Aminah Brenda Lynn Robinson was a life-long artist whose diverse work has been shown across the country, from Brooklyn, New York, to Tacoma, Washington, to the Columbus Museum of Art. Robinson’s artwork often reflects the Near Eastside neighborhood in Columbus where she grew up. Community strongly influenced her art and her art influenced Columbus.
ABOUT THE AWARD: The Aminah Brenda Lynn Robinson Community Award honors Robinson’s deep-rooted connection to community and art in Columbus. Each year, Art for Life supporters vote for their favorite artwork online in the weeks leading up to Art for Life.
The winner will be announced at the event on September 15, 2018.
