With money, what Superhero are you?
We're all at different stages of preparedness when it comes to our personal finances. What superhero best represents your readiness?
Credit or Debit? Which is your superhero power move when you get up to the register?
Credit: There’s nothing better than the combo attack of points after a purchase has been made.
Debit: I hit once, but I hit hard and in full! You’ll never catch me off guard with a late fee.
Neither: Cash is king. It’s so powerful, it changes the weather and makes it rain.
How strong is your credit?
My credit's not bad. When I flex, I can lift a car.
I have leveled up my credit so high, no one can reach it.
I’ve got little or no credit. I could use a radioactive spider to boost me.
How much credit card debt are you carrying?
I carry a lot. My monthly carried over balance is practically ripping off my pocket.
From time to time I only do my minimum payment, but generally I pay off my bills.
Footloose and fancy free, I ain’t got no debt on me. I pay off everything, every time.
Is your wealth part of your superpower?
I own a country and Vibranium. Any more questions?
Journalists definitely don’t make enough in NYC. Web shooters, lightening fast speed...I need any help to save a buck on transportation.
Just your typical suburban family. 2 car garage, 2.5 kids and the ability to stretch more than a dollar.
What’s in your investment arsenal?
Like Tony Stark, I’m a business magnate with a diverse portfolio.
I’m a fledgling when it comes to investing, but I’m interested in growing my investments. I currently don’t have enough funds or am uncertain about how to move forward.
Captain America is my hero: I’m all about shielding and saving. Investing seems scary.
Do you ever get into trouble with overdraft and/or late fees? How prepared are you?
I pretty much have enough to cover myself in case of emergency, but sometimes I need backup from friends/family.
If you loan me a few bucks, you can be my superhero.
Never! Direct debit ✓, auto pay ✓, calendar reminders ✓. All of it is on automatic.
Have you looked into financial tools to help with adulting (i.e. Mint, Debitize, Acorns)?
I manage everything on my own right now. I didn’t even know I could level up.
I am a money Master Shifu. A wise financial warrior.
I have started experimenting with various apps like Debitize and Mint. But could use a Professor X to guide me.
If you had an emergency or unexpected payment like a $1,000 medical expense, how difficult is it for you to deal with?
I’m constantly in a state of late fees and interest. I could do with some saving (get it?).
I can usually get out of it pretty well, but not without a bruised wallet. At least my bank account is still intact.
That’s what petty cash is for. Just talk to my trusty valet for these trivial matters.
You are Peter Parker
Let’s face it, Spiderman is cool, but Peter Parker’s a photojournalist whose best work is selfies. Upping your finance game is the same as creating your first web shooter: your first step to real freedom and taking control of your life.
You are Captain America
Reliable and smart, you’re careful at planning and making sure things are taken care of. You rarely get caught in some financial trap, but you’re not the charge ahead type. You could use an upgrade from a giant shield to protect your finances and go on the offense by getting ahead of the game.
You are Jean Grey
As an Omega level financial powerhouse, you’ve got incredible superpowers, but it’s still never a smooth journey. You might have apps dueling for your attention or not quite working right which can lead to an overdraft here or a late fee there, but you’re so close.
You are Black Panther
You’ve got a technologically advanced arsenal that keeps you at peak financial preparedness. Not only that, you’ve built up an entire empire to support your financial goals. A smart superhero with powers and tech, there’s no stopping you!
