1. I have trouble finding time to exercise.
Always / Often:
Finding a full hour to work out can be tough for many people, but you don’t need to do exercise all at once. You can still fulfill the CDC’s recommended 150 minutes per week by breaking movement into shorter blocks: think things like 20-minute walks on your lunch break, 10-minute strength workouts in the morning or evening, or by planning for extra daily steps by parking farther away or taking the stairs at work. Small bursts add up fast!
Sometimes:
Congrats on making time for movement! To stay more consistent, try scheduling your workout sessions into your phone or work calendar. That way you’ve already set aside time for yourself before your week books up!
Never:
Great job staying consistent! If you ever find you’re getting bored of your routine, don’t forget to plan for “fun” ways to stay active, whether that’s signing up for your local 5K, joining an adult sports league or simply recruiting your family for a bike ride around the neighborhood.
