Let's see if your glasses are treating astigmatism
First, cover your left eye
Using your left hand, gently cover your left eye so you can only see out of your right eye. Be sure not to apply pressure to your covered eye.
Right eye test
With your left eye covered, do any of the lines appear clearer or bolder than the others?
Now cover your right eye
With your right hand, gently cover your right eye so you can only see out of your left eye. Be sure not to apply pressure to your covered eye.
Now cover your right eye
With your right hand, gently cover your right eye so you can only see out of your left eye. Be sure not to apply pressure to your covered eye.

How we'll check your glasses
Some glasses already have astigmatism correction and checking them can be a simple way to see if you have astigmatism. In the next step, you'll take your glasses off, hold them halfway between you and the screen, and rotate them while looking at the cross through the lens.
