While the Wildtrak model was initially only available in the Ranger line up and the Platinum only in the Everest line up, both have since become available as Everest and Ranger models. The Raptor is exclusively a Ranger model, but we can hope that Ford will one day give us an Everest Raptor...
The brilliant 1.4-litre BoosterJet engine does duty across the Swift, Vitara and S-Cross ranges in standard and hybrid forms, the latter becoming the exclusive powertrain for but the Vitara and S-Cross.
While Ford Ranger's newest diesel engine might have more cylinders than its predecessor, the 3.0-litre V6 actually has a smaller capacity than the "Duratorq" 3.2-litre inline 5-cylinder it replaces.
